In 2006, a stock 6.6L Duramax LLY/LBZ was rated at 310 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque, by 2007 that jumped to 360 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The combination of new mechanical components and an upgraded ECM made the 2006-2007 Duramax LLY/LBZ the most reliable, durable, and powerful Duramax up to that point.
